The Chicago Bulls traded Derrick Rose, Justin Holiday and a 2nd round pick in the 2017 NBA draft to New York in exchange for Brook Lopez, Jose Calderon and Jerian Grant. Hoops4dummies- For all the NBA is rigged people out there, this one is for you. The NBA’s official Facebook page has already created events for next week’s Finals, and they already have the teams that will be competing listed. Warriors-Cavaliers will start on June 2 and of course the event listing has since been deleted. Somebody is getting fired!
Hoops4dummies-Well that looked pretty easy, the Cavaliers pretty much embarrassed the Eastern conference. A clean 4-0 sweep of the Detroit Pistons, another 4-0 sweep of the Atlanta Hawks and a dominating 4-2 dismantle of the Toronto Raptors. With a healthy team and all momentum shifting in their favor its starting to look as if the Cavs will not be stopped this time around. Sounds good doesn’t it? Hoops4Dummies- With the NBA Draft quickly approaching, its a time for all future prospects to iron out the wrinkles and master their strengths. For some this day is destined to come and for others its more of a dream, I am not taking anything away from anybody but the reality is some of these kids are being recruited in 6th and 7th grade. Malachi on the other hand is a dreamer, just a kid from Trenton, NJ a place where being against the odds is the norm in most households.
HOOPS4DUMMIES- So before I start this blog I’ve come to terms with the fact that I’ll probably lose all my Steph Curry fans out there, but hey we are all entitled to our own opinion and here’s mine. Stephen Curry Unanimous MVP winner? Hell no! no way. Did the guy have an amazing year? Of course, did he deserve the MVP? Most definitely, but nobody on this green earth can convince me that not 1 other player could get 1 vote. They must have had his highlight tape playing in the background during the voting process, maybe each voter received a free pair of his shoes.
